The aim of the series is to simply document a family sailing trip that takes place annually in the British Virgin Islands. As the series continues to grow, the images speak to something more than a typical family vacation. These photographs capture spontaneity, and a release of control. When sailing we rely on the will of Mother Nature. Our trip becomes dependent upon the wind, and in turn we become dependent on each other.
